Selenium boosts antioxidant status
We sought to understand how a mineral-vitamin complex, specifically Selzinc-plus, may help treat chronic abacterial prostatitis, a condition often linked with pelvic pain. In a study involving 47 men, we divided them into two groups: one received standard therapy, and the other received additional Selzinc-plus for two months.

While standard therapy showed effects, the antioxidant treatment significantly enhanced these benefits on symptoms. Notably, though the overall antioxidant system improved, no significant changes were observed in leukocyte counts. Our findings suggest that this antioxidant approach may offer added relief for those suffering from pelvic pain.
We focused on the effects of a dietary supplement combining several natural ingredients, including selenium, on chronic pelvic pain in men with Category IIIA prostatitis.

Patients taking this supplement showed significant reductions in inflammation and pain, as evidenced by lower white blood cell counts in seminal fluid and improved pain scores.

These findings suggest that selenium, along with other nutrients, may play a beneficial role in alleviating pelvic pain associated with chronic prostatitis.

Selenium enhances pelvic pain treatment
We evaluated the effects of a treatment combining Serenoa repens with selenium and lycopene, known as Profluss, against Serenoa repens alone for chronic pelvic pain in 102 men. After an 8-week period, both groups experienced symptom improvements. However, the Profluss group showed a significantly greater reduction in pelvic pain scores and additional benefits in other measures, suggesting that selenium can enhance treatment effectiveness for this condition.

While both treatments offered relief, Profluss was particularly beneficial. This finding indicates that adding selenium to standard therapy might be advantageous in managing pelvic pain.

This product should be in every household! My son experienced severe poisoning with abdominal pain and a high fever. I had detox capsules on hand and cautiously gave him one. Miraculously, his fever began to diminish significantly shortly thereafter. Over the next few days, I continued to administer the capsules mixed with water, and my son's condition improved dramatically, avoiding potential infectious diseases. I'm grateful for this discovery, especially as it also helps seasonal allergies.

Reduced cysts and pain

I discovered this supplement through Reddit, as it's reputed to help with endometrial cysts and associated pain. After six weeks of consistent use, I've had a noticeable reduction in both cyst size and pain, as confirmed by ultrasound. Although the strong smell is unpleasant, the benefits I'm experiencing make it worthwhile, and I intend to continue using it for my pelvic pain relief.

Gallbladder pain relief

A new must-have for me. After taking it, my "untreatable" gallbladder and side pains subsided, and my gut and bowel functions became regulated. This was one of several changes recommended to me, but I genuinely believe this was the key change since I had already tried other methods. It might be worth consulting your GP to see if this could assist you on your health journey.

Multimodal therapy improves pelvic pain
We examined the potential of a multimodal therapy approach for treating chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS) using the UPOINTS phenotyping system. Involving 914 patients, the study combined α-blockers, supplements like selenium, and antibacterial agents among others.

After a six-month course, we noted significant improvements in symptoms, with 77.5% of patients achieving a meaningful reduction in their pain scores. Notably, patients with the inflammatory subtype showed marked symptom relief compared to the non-inflammatory group. This suggests a tailored approach could effectively address the complexities of CP/CPPS.

I bought this supplement after learning from YouTube that NAC might alleviate Covid symptoms. I started taking it two weeks after experiencing my first symptoms, and by the second week of use, I've noticed considerable improvement. I feel revitalised, with increased energy and reduced fatigue. I've regained my appetite, and no longer feel light-headed. Although I still experience body pains, I will keep using it, hopeful that it will alleviate my pelvic pain as well.

Bone pain reduction

Effective. I take NAC from a different brand, which was out of stock, but it contains the same ingredients in higher doses. Thanks to that and glutathione, my skin is soft, beautiful, and my hair is magnificent. I feel great, and my mother takes it as well, reporting less bone pain. I highly recommend taking NAC and glutathione; it may be costly, but it is genuinely effective.

Improved health issues

Beware of long-term use. While this NAC may be a good quality product, it doesn't suit everyone, particularly those with high inflammation or histamine issues. After two years of daily use, I experienced worsened sleep, elevated blood pressure, and knee pain. Upon discovering that NAC inhibits methylation—an essential biochemical process—I substituted it with a methyl donor, TMG, leading to improvements in my symptoms. It's crucial to be cautious about the duration of NAC consumption, as advice and positive experiences from others may not apply universally.
